Canberra

Am home after a freeezing stay in Canberra. Actually it was really lovely the first two days, then winter arrived. I had to borrow bed socks from Bec, what type of FOOL doesn't take warm bed socks to Canberra in the cool seasons???

These three kiddies REALLY made me work. Their Mum said they were hard to get a photo of - she wasn't wrong! The boys are just very busy and well, they are boys. I played peek-a-boo with Jack when he was trying to hide from me under his doona and when I went to the lounge room he yelled "Hey! Where's that lady gone??" Little Olivia, what a delightful bubby girl! She was lovely, her eye lashes are nothing short of amazing, they touch her eyebrows!

Had a great morning but man oh man I was tired! I used every single trick I have to get kids to look at me and have fun, I eventually managed some real corkers!

Anniversary Gift!

I am so humbled when people buy gift certificates for sessions with me, it really makes me feel quite spesh! That people value my work so much they want to give it as a gift... just overwhelmes me!

Tracy bought a big family session for her parents as a 40th anniversary gift. 40 years, just amazing! We had a great time this afternoon, I always love going out to farms for sessions. There is so many places to go and to use, and the families are always very welcoming and lots of fun.

They do really love eachother

The Dynamic duo. She'll say "Do this" and he will. She'll say "Taste this" and he will. She'll say "Come on! Lets go play babies and put make up on!" and he will.

He has boundries though.

One crazy afternoon...

I go to my friends place at least once a week to hang around, drink coffee, chat about our husbands, our kids, our lives. And also so I can go through her old photos and laugh about her sexy hairstyles of the late 90's - think KD Lang cross Elvis. Our kids all get along well, we like to feed them and send them on their merry way around the place so we can talk in peace. My kids ask EVERY day if we can go there.

One crazy afternoon we decided to try for a lined-up foot shot of her kids. Notice I said 'try'.

Then I let her have a go with the camera, Joe hammed it up and was in hysterics. Check out his lost tooth!!

Im still alive!

Have been flat out all week with so. much. housework. Urgh, I do not like folding washing. I have had to do it though, The Pile (as we call it) was getting so big the little ones would run into the room and body slam into it and say "Cover me Mummy!" - and I could.

Something to make you laugh... Im sure everyone in the entire world has seem this clip but it never fails to put a smile on my face!
