The Chair

Took this old chair from the farm, to a field just next to mums place. The sun was setting and gave off the most glorious light...

Rowdy Boys!

Headed into the sunshine yesterday for a session with 4 boys! They really were wonderful kids, and once they were warmed up (read:offered $5 by me for the best boy of the day), they were very easy to direct. They are all just gorgeous, but the youngest brother, Khan, just has something about him. He is striking. His long hair, gorgeous brown eyes and the beauty spot.... adorable! Their cousin Charlie, the youngest fellow of the day, was just not interested in the camera. He wanted to wander and explore, so we went back to his amazing home to do more where he was more comfortable...

Jenna

Just look at this angel, she has featured on the blog before. Her eyes...are just magical. She can look so soulful, ghostly, happy, sad, lost, found... all with one look.

It is always a pleasure to photograph her, she is very, very good at taking direction and has loads of ideas for herself about what would look good. All that at only 4!

More of bubby Layla

Have been very busy. One of my best friends is here visiting us for a few weeks and we have been on this mad diet plan/bootcamp. It has been very full on but I am SO confident this is *it* for me. I am loving the excercise and I am totally in love with Body Combat right now. It is an aggresive class and so full on but those uppercuts and hooks are extremely therapuetic!! I can't believe how violent I feel while I pretend to shove my knee into someones face!

Can't leave without an image or two, will leave my agro post with a softer ending. Sweet princess Layla is one of my favourite newborn sessions. Probably because of her size. How I wished for a 6 pounder. Just ONE. But, no. I got total tanks. Layla...makes me clucky.

Getting right back into it...

Baby Layla from yesterday, now with new and improved watermarks all over her. These watermarks will be over every image on this blog, in a bid to keep them safer from sinister characters! I refuse to let theives and bullies win, I won't let this affect my business!

Layla was 6lbs of pure sweetness, so tiny and so lovely. She finally fell asleep just as I was about to leave so I managed to move her around a bit more and get those gorgeous sleeping shots I love so much...

I'm back!

Sorry to all of those who have been confused by the shut down of my Blog.

It came to my attention today that some nutbag (or nutbags) have taken a lot of images off here and claimed them as their own elsehwere. I have been in contact with the relevant people, and also have some big wig music people on the case as one of their artists was affected. It will all sort itself out in due time. The powers that be have already started tracking where the images were saved to, so it won't be long until I know the full story. There's nothing like a bit of a scandal to drum up some business! I should really be thanking these fools, they have shown me just how talented I am and how much people do appreciate and adore my work.

To protect myself, and also my clients, every image on the Cupcakes blog will now have a bigger watermark across it, to try and stop it happening again. I won't stop posting, but the full image will be harder to see. I hope you will all look past the watermark to see the true image underneath.

Thank you all for your support!!
