Baby Joe

If anyone would have said that I would manage to get sleepy shots of this baby, I would have laughed in their face! At 2.5 weeks old, Joe was just SO alert. He followed my every move and I was truly amazed to be honest.

He finally gave up in the end, after much fighting with the sleepy fairy! What a gorgeous little man, who has already brought so much joy to his wonderful parents!

His Mum, Kristy, was given a session with me as a gift for her baby shower. What lovely friends!! Dont forget, all newborn sessions now include a second session up to 6 months of age. This is included in a gift certificate too, so keep it in mind for your next baby shower! It's the gift that just keeps on giving...

Who says winter...

...is a terrible time for family photos??

Back again with my little family of muses. I cannot get enough of these kids, 2 of them are absolute STARS in front of the camera (it's not hard to pick, Lizzy mainly, and Tom) and are a lot of fun to photograph. Should I be doing actual work? Yes! But sometimes a girl has got to have a bit of fun and that's exactly what I did while proofing these shots.

Gotta love that jacket!

Ben - 8 days

Oh my. Little Ben was such a good boy for me, he did very well for his first photo shoot. At 8 days old, he was perfect, nice and sleepy and very curly. He is the littlest brother to Tom and Lily, who I will be photographing later on in the year. Can't wait to see this gorgeous boy blossom!

Little Ben is proof, that the very very VERY best time for newborn portraits is honestly, within the first 10 days of being earthside. I know it is usually a very stressful time with visitors and breastfeeding and coming home from hospital... but please find time to squeeze me in if you have been gifted a voucher, or have a pre-booked session. These images really are so precious, and to get the BEST results, the first 10 days is the ultimate time frame for me. And of course the baby!

Lewis

Nawwwwww, what a sweet baby boy. Lewis is the son of one of my maternity clients and I just cannot seem to find that blog post!

How can one be so divine, yet cause so much chaos upon his arrival?? All worth it in the end, and his Mum and Dad are finally able to settle down and enjoy their baby boy. What a cutie pie, I got to have loads of cuddles which was lovely...
